While the store is open complete the following tasks and install the following equipment:

  1. Locate the new High-Speed circuit.
    • Connect your laptop or phone and run SPEED TEST at www.speedtest.net. (Ensure your device is set up as DHCP.)
    • Take a screen shot of the results. (This will be attached to the FORM you fill out here)
    • Unplug the power from the High-Speed modem for at least 6 minutes after running your speed test.
  2. Unbox and install the WattBox in its permanent location.
    • Run a ethernet cable from the NETWORK port on the WattBox to Switch 1  Port 21.
    • Plug the NEW High-Speed Modem power plug into the Controlled 1 on the WattBox.
    • Plug the NEW CradlePoint power plug into the Controlled 2 on the WattBox.
    • Ensure to install the power plug retainer clip (illustrated below) to keep the power plug securely inserted.
  • NOTE: You need to take a picture the clearly shows the network cable and BOTH plugs are plugged in.
  • Install the CradlePoint modem where you want it permanently.
    • Connect the CradlePoint antenna to the cradle point. ENSURE to connect the cable labeled LTE1 to the “MAIN” and LTE2 to “AUX” antenna port on the back to the CradlePoint. The CradlePoint may be mounted inside the cabinet but the antenna MUST be mounted outside of the cabinet.
    • Plug in the power to the WattBoxx Controlled 2.
    • Power up the CradlePoint and allow the it to completely boot.
    • The 4G lights should be WHITE. If it does NOT turn WHITE and remains WHITE after 15 mins, notify the bridge so they can call Comcast.

  • Install the Cisco ATA 192 VoIP if one was shipped to site. If not, go to Step 5.
    • Connect the Network interface on the back of the ATA to Switch 1 Port 10. Label the cable as ATA192.
    • Next connect the Sonic provided analog phone into the Phone 1 interface on the back of the ATA
    • Now connect the ATA power cable to the DC 5V Power interface and then connect to your
      power source. Note only use the provided power cord for the ATA, these devices are easily
      fried if the voltage is wrong.
    • The Cisco ATA 192 will then start reaching out to the voice portal. The initial process can sometimes take up to 15 minutes to complete, be patient. The device will likely reboot a time or two as well. Once the ATA is ready the power, network, and phone line 1 lights will all be GREEN.If you have any issues with the ATA not showing green lights the EAC Install Engineer will assist with troubleshooting.

      If you have any issues with Porting Do not worry about the number itself, the store’s main number will be forward to this number until the main number is ported later

  • Once you’re on with the EAC Install Engineer for Core Install, you will complete Inbound and Outbound call tests. will include the following.
    • Inbound Calls – The EAC Install Engineer will call the store number. Answer the line to ensure it connects and has good call quality.
    • Outbound Calls – Make a call from Phone1/Phone2 to the EAC Install Engineers phone or your cell phone. Answer the line to ensure it connects and has good call quality.
    • Additional Test Call – Use Phone1/Phone2 to call the US Naval Observatory Time-by-Phone line 202-762-1401 this validates calls outbound, two-way audio and calls outbound to a different area code.
